Mohd IsaBeliau yang juga pengerusi Felda berkata, keputusan tersebut diharap mendapat sokongan daripada anggota Umno dalam usaha memantapkan parti terutama bagi menghadapi Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-14 (PRU-14).
"Apa yang saya miliki terutamanya dari segi pengalaman dan kebolehan dapat membantu mengurus parti untuk menghadapi PRU-14.
"Sebagai orang lama, saya sedia bantu pucuk pimpinan parti...semua berhasrat seperti itu demi keutuhan parti," katanya pada sidang media di Dewan Merak Kayangan, Balai Felda di sini, Selasa.
