Kerakusan UMNO-BN: Rakyat Sabah sudah celik politik

DONGGONGAN: Biarpun ada kajian menunjukan bahawa pendatang asing tanpa izin (PATI) yang mendapat kerakyatan kini mencecah 50 peratus dari populasi penduduk negeri Sabah, Pakatan Rakyat masih mampu mencipta sejarah baru sekiranya semua suku kaum negeri ini bersatu.

Demikian antara inti ucapan Dr. Edwin Bosi, Setiausaha DAP negeri Sabah dalam sesi pendengaran umum DAP baru-baru ini di Wawasan Commercial Centre.

“Berkenaan masalah PATI yang mendapat kerakyatan, kita boleh atasi mereka dalam pilihan raya umum akan datang sekiranya kita bersatu.”

Dr. Bosi turut mengimbas kembali impian bekas perdana Menteri Mahathir Mohamad yang pernah menyatakan hasratnya untuk melihat Malaysia mempunyai populasi penduduk seramai 70 juta orang.

“Setiap seorang dari kita kata beliau perlu memunyai lima orang anak. Bukan semua pun mampu. Apakah untuk mencapai hasrat itu beliau melancarkan ‘projek IC Sabah’ suatu ketika dulu demi memberi kemenangan kepada BN?” soalnya.

Disamping itu jelas beliau, kedatangan UMNO juga telah menyebabkan banyak masalah lain dan perpecahan berlaku terutamanya dikalangan pelbagai suku kaum negeri tersebut dengan memainkan sentimen bangsa dan agama.

“DAP telah dikatakan sebagai parti Cina sedangkan ramai dikalangan kita disini menyertai DAP merupakan suku kaum bumiputera. Malah Pengerusi Kebangsaan DAP sendiri bukanlah seorang Cina.” ujar beliau.

Disebalik pelbagai kemelut,masalah dan penindasan yang dilakukan kerajaan UMNO-BN di Sabah, Dr Bosi berkata Pakatan Rakyat di Sabah telah memainkan peranan terpenting menyatupadukan penduduk dan memberi maklumat sebenar.

“Sentimen kaum dan agama yang dimainkan UMNO ini amat bahaya untuk Sabah terutamanya kerana sebelum ini tidak pernah berlaku sebarang masalah seperti itu.

Dalam masa yang sama, Dr. Bosi yang juga pakar dalam bidang vertirinar berkata, kesedaran dikalangan rakyat Sabah dan kawasan pedalaman juga semakin menunjukkan kesan yang positif.

“Ramai kalangan bumiputera dan orang asal di pedalaman mula bersuara dan berani memprotes berikutan tanah mereka dirampas tanpa sebarang pampasan dan tindakan wajar kerajaan UMNO-BN Sabah.

Tambah beliau, kemarahan rakyat makin ketara apabila wujud kes dimana bantuan kebajikan yang sepatutnya diagihkan untuk penduduk yang layak ditarik balik berikutan mereka menyokong pembangkang.-roketkini.com

tidak perlulah DAP risau dan cuba menghasut fikiran rakyat. MEreka tahu apa yang patut dan tidak untuk diri mereka.

Saya percaya yang mana pembangkang sekarang ini sedang mencari jalan bagaimana untuk memburukkan dan menjatuhkan ekonomi sabah. Supaya rakyat akan berfikirkan negatif kepada kerajaan BN.

Pakatan mahu rakyat di negeri ini bersatu sedangkan mereka sendiri gagal bersatu dengan parti2 pembangkang tempatan Sabah..

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman said the flow of foreign investments had continued to see a positive trend, clearly reflecting investors’ confidence in the State’s economic fundamentals and prospects as well as its political stability and level of security. “In the first quarter this year alone, Sabah received RM10 billion in private investment – the highest amount compared with other states.

“Additionally, as of September 30, the amount of cumulative investment in the private sector, under the Sabah Development Corridor, had surpassed RM114 billion since its launch in 2008,” Musa said in his speech at an investiture ceremony held in conjunction with the 59th birthday of Head of State Tun Haji Juhar Haji Mahiruddin at Istana Negeri. Musa who is also Finance Minister said the State had also spent a total of RM1.136 billion from the RM1.39 billion allocated to it under the Ninth Malaysia Plan and the 10th Malaysia Plan.

He added that under the Second Rolling Plan of the 10MP, Sabah was also allocated RM4.376 billion to carry out 743 projects in 2012. “And, as of September 21, RM1.971 billion or 45.1 per cent of the allocation had been spent to finance development projects implemented in Sabah,” he said.

The Chief Minister said Sabah also saw a 15.7 per cent rise in foreign tourist arrivals between January and July this year with 541,552 visitors, compared with 467,924 during the same period of last year.He said the State government was confident that the success in attracting private and foreign investments into Sabah was clear evident of the State’s conducive environment to attract high impact investments with greater economic prospects.

Musa said the State government was also committed to ensuring that all development programmes for Sabah under the 2013 Budget were implemented including the standardising of prices of goods, opening of 1Malaysia retail shops and the expansion of rice space in Kota Belud.He added that the State government took pride in the AAA rating given to Sabah by Rating Agency Malaysia (RAM) for four consecutive years.

Apart from the foreign investments and tourists, he said the State has also welcomed high powered delegations including senior leaders from China and the latest being the visit from Britain’s royal couple, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge.“This has further boosted Sabah’s image and put the State on the world map,” he added.

The Chief Minister also urged the people to stay united to ensure continued progress and prosperity. According to him, the high commitment of the government in safeguarding the people’s interest and improving their socioeconomic status has resulted in a decline in Sabah’s poverty rate.Meanwhile in his speech at the State banquet held in conjunction with the Governor’s birthday last night, Musa stressed the importance of making concerted efforts to intensify development and to bring about further progress for the people.

He also said the State government was committed to managing its spending prudently.“The recognition accorded to Sabah by the Auditor-General recently demands that we must continue to further strengthen Sabah’s economy and finances,” Musa said.

Sabah maintained its ‘certificate without reprimand’ for its financial statement for 12 consecutive years since year 2000.He also told all implementing departments and agencies to enhance their delivery system and administration so as to ensure every development project would benefit the people.“This is a major government agenda which needs the support of everyone including leaders, members of the civil service, private sector and the people,” he added.
